Contract Manager

Job Description

Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors across tendering and project phases

Oversee preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness

Manage project contracts, including administration and resolution of contractual matters

Develop strategies for scope of works and contract terms when sourcing subcontractors and suppliers

Provide contractual and commercial advice to senior management and project teams
-
Ensure all projects comply with contractual requirements, procedures, and industry standards

Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve optimal project outcomes

Implement cost control, risk management, and value engineering strategies

Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in construction, quantity surveying, or contract management

Project Manager

Job Description
- Attend to all meetings, discussion and dialogue with client, consultants, services providers, subcontractors, suppliers and related party.
- Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts.
- Developing the programme of work and strategy for making the project happen
- Planning to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
- Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to.
- Overseeing the running of several projects.
- Communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce.
- Take all effort to ensure that all the works are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Any other duties and assignments that the Company may instruct you to undertake that are required of a Project Manager from time to time during your term of employment.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board / BCA.
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager/ Construction Manager.
- Managed projects from commencement to completion stage.
- Possess managerial experience and supervisory skills.
- Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff.
- Able to work independently and also in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
Project Engineer

Job Requirements:
- Coordination of work with clients/subcontractors to ensure on-time completion, attend site project meetings and produce daily work progress reports.
- Planning, scheduling and supervision of execution of site works.
- Provide technical advice and supervision to site personnel to ensure that work on site is carried out according to specifications and requirements.
- Assist safety personnel in ensuring work on site complies to all relevant safety requirements.
- Oversees the daily construction activities at the work site to meet the project progress and quality goals.
- Supervises subcontractors / direct manpower to complete the project within the given budget and timeframe.
- Responsible for making sure that the work and the materials used in construction meet the specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Government regulation in terms of safety, building plan, structural plan and environmental issue.
- Prepare progress claim and sub-con claim verification.
- Responsible to lead/ assist for RE/RTO inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Architectural knowledge is an advantage
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in construction industry.
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- Able to work independently and processes good interpersonal skills.
- BCSS and other relevant certification will be a strong advantage.

- Liaise & establish rapport with consultant, contractors, etc on certification of claims for payment.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Contracts. Management/Administration or a relevant discipline.
- You must possess with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in construction.
- You should be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented, a good team player and be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Requirements
- To prepare M&E works schedule based on the project master schedule.
- To monitor the shop drawings and material submission.
- To check & verified that M&E drawing is compliant to authorities’ requirements.
- To check M&E drawings and highlight if there are discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements.
- To prepare progress report.
- To coordinate between sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues.
- To monitor the installation work as per coordinated.
- Responsible in conduct inspection &/or testing of building works and documented inspection records upon verification by RE/RTO.
- Follow up on necessary rectification work & other follow up tasks.
- To monitor all sub-contractor to provide drawing as per coordinated.
- To guide M&E supervisor on site work as per coordinated.
Job Requirements
- Min. of 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
- Recognised Diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical.
